Welcome! Thank you for visiting our site. It is our prayer that you will come visit our church, as well. Over the next few weeks, more information will be added to this site so that you may learn more about us. We certainly want to get to know you. So, come visit us soon on the corner of Martin Luther King Drive and Hackberry Street in San Antonio, Texas.

Until that time, I wanted to share a thought and a prayer with you, if I may. As we look at nature, it is good to know that new creations are happening all the time. New births of wildlife and new plants are blooming and beginning to produce flowers, fruit and beautiful foliage to admire and appreciate. God creates newness in us anytime He so desires as long as we are open to His creative manifestations. Let Him do something new in you today!

Scripture: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

Church Mission

The Mission of Mount Zion First Baptist Church is to exalt Jesus Christ, to lead people to experience salvation, to enhance their spiritual development and to promote social justice. We are Bible-based, Christ-centered, Holy Spirit-led and Mission Outreach-oriented.

Come worship with us!

We at Mount Zion First Baptist Church invite you to come worship and fellowship with us. We have faith filled Worship Services on Sunday and Bible Study on Wednesday. We have a strong youth program including an Academic Team, as well as Sports Teams. You are welcome to join in our fellowship events for men, women and youth such as the Men's Breakfast, the Women's Luncheon, the Youth's Game Nights or the Church Picnic, just to name a few. We also have outreach programs that impact the community. Whatever you need, God has it. And many times He uses Mount Zion to get it to you. So, stop by anytime and receive the blessings God has in store for you.
